This 360° panorama shows the different buildings from the southern end of Jubilee Campus of the University of Nottingham. From left to right the buildings are: South Building with business library and auditorium (cut off), Newark Hall, International Building, Amenities Building with Café Aspire, the Nottingham Geospatial Building (cut off) the Aspire, the Sir Colin Campbell Building, National College, and the other half of the auditorium.
The houses on this panorama are built into the rock on which the Nottingham castle stands. Opposite the street behind (Castle Boulevard) is the Museum of Nottingham Life. A little bit further away, close to the Broadmarsh Shopping Center, the City of Caves begin. If you follow along the footpath that you can see on the picture you pass by “Ye Olde Trip to Jerusalem”, England’s oldest inn. Following the street to your left from there, you will end up in front of the Castle gates.
Between the Nottingham Train Station and the City Center this panorama was taken on the Nottingham Canal. It shows (from left to right) an old British Waterways building (now a fitness studio), a café, apartment houses, the restaurant “The Via Fossa”, the restaurant “Canal House”, and part of Carrington Street bridge.
The following panorama shows the same scene just a few steps further along the way from a different angle.
